HEY EVERYONE--- also want to say to everyone---Have a very healthy and safe 2006, it came and went so fast that it will be track time before you can turn your head.

I have a similar mountain of expenses as Lil Red....with the new house and the problems the builder left me with.....but hope to get out as much as possible.

ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE.

Just want to wish a good one to everyone in the club (as well as those guests to the site that should join the club [:D] )

Hope everyone had a safe night and an enjoyable evening.

Hope everyone had a safe night and an enjoyable evening.

The evening was decent enough but was almost an unsafe one.

Was coming home and what appeared to be a very drunk driver almost hit me twice. Came up very fast on my butt, almost ran me off the road, backed off, swerving the whole time, came back up on me again...

I got into the left lane to get away from him, let him pass, he did...he looked like he was going to hit the guardrail or run himself off the road a few times. Where was a cop when I needed one... <sigh>

Almost getting killed = not a good way to start off the new year. On a good note, I saw lots of cabs on the way home. *thumbs up*

Luckily it turned out that my new battery has a defective cell...minor PITA. So things ended well...this time...

Maybe if I'm not so poor I can actually go racing this year *rolls eyes*

Good luck on the house...trust me, I feel your pain on that one, too.

That further confirms Don's and my New Year's Eve practice: keep your butt home and away from all those drunks on the road!!!!!!!!!! Glad you're okay, Laurie. [:D]

Happy New Year to all. [:D] Irene and I had a safe and fun New Year's Eve with our best buds of 25 years at the Rocky Gap Resort in western Maryland. We spent two days and didn't have to deal with any nuts on the road.
later, Jerry
