With all that Santa is bringing us, any chance we can get a mod night/day somewhere in Jan?

It doesn't necessarily have to be @ Koons. But, it would help if it was at a location or house where we had access to tools and a lift or something similar.

Later! [:)>-]

Ummm. Let's take inventory here.

- 1 car garage
- short driveway
- parking in the area that sucks
- tools split between an ex-fishing tackle box and a Rubber-Maid brand bin

No. Sorry. Just asking.

If Koons is the chosen club location, well, I guess we'll wait until they (and Joe) feel generous again.

That's more than I have. I have:

-no garage
-no driveway
-no visitor parking
-1 parking space in front of my house, other spot occupied by hub's BMW...see avatar
-1 spot for 2nd corvette on the street, not guaranteed it'll be available if I take it out at night or on weekends.
-1 mechanic's Craftsman tool set

Since Koons is our generous sponsor, I'm sure we will have another one...prob not for a little while though...

Sounds like it is time for a 'Shop Night' Chairperson and a 'Real Estate' Chairperson.

The Shop Night Chairperson is self-explainatory. The Real Estate Chairperson's job is to insure that no one purchases a home without the requisites to take care of a number of Corvettes... two car temperature controlled garage (minimum), a very long drive and as extra parking when needed. [:))]

I could easily fill those garage bays...given the right lottery ticket.

Couldn't we all. I would be happy with 2/3rds of that with NO problem. [B-)]

As it stands right now I could fill a 1/3 of it with my cars alone....not including the lottery winnings purchases.

'tis nice to dream...

Hmmm, maybe it's too small, height-wise. There's no room for a lift!

Mine is only a 3 car detached. But I do have a 3 car on the house as well. When things settle down I will get the thing done this year

Any way you slice it, that's 6 garage bays. Must be nice!

Yeah! ...and all the room in the world for Xtra parking. [:)] [:D]

Of course he does have to contend with the dust from the gravel road between the major road and his driveway. [:(]

Then again... the roads out there are PERFECT for a Rallye Cross [;)]

...having my own shop day right now [B-)] at my house.

Oil changes, and other light maintenance - got the new pully and belt on my wife's Jeep - her 5.9L engine must have hit a snag, as it destroyed the power steering pulley - in shards!

plastic - quality [:-/]

Ohh well - Enjoy the last Sat. of the year! [B-)]

...just realized, I have over 80 qts of (used) oil in my garage - time to go and drop off the stuff for (proper) disposal [B-)]

80 qts. + That is about 15 +++ oil changes

BTW, my peeve of the day goes out to Mobil1. Thanks for changing the design of the jug - the truck takes 6 qts. so the one jug I pured in (5 qts.) had a "window" to see how many were poured in so far - the new(er) jug did not...

I wound up transferring the new oil into the other jug just to get that 6th qt of oil. [:-B]

Fun stuff [:-?]

also hooked up some "Battery Tenders" today to some of the Vettes - now they will "start on demand" [=D>]
