I am a legal secretary and have been so my whole working lifetime except for one year when I worked as a veterinarian's assistant.
Don is a civil engineer. He worked for 13 years for the general engineering counsultant on the Metro subway, then went to Saudia Arabia for 2 years as a consulant. He currently works for the Federal Highway Administration (part of DOT) where he manages the road and bridge program for the Fish and Wildlife Refuges and manages the nationwide program for Emergency Relief for Federally-Owned Roads. This means he authorizes the funding for roads and bridges damage caused by natural disasters. He has to travel extensively to wildlife refuges and any spot where there is federally-owned land to assess damages.
