CALLING ALL VETTES!!!

Sign up now for the 59th Annual Vienna/Tysons Corner Halloween Parade!

Date: Wednesday, October 26th @ 7:00 pm

This is an excellent opportunity to get some exposure in our own back yard! Anyone who lives in this area knows how big a parade this really is!
This is a great opportunity to get the club out in front of our own community, and the cost FREE!!!
Come support the club!

If you are interested please contact Joe Daly at: (703) 478-3259 or jdthree@cox.net
I need to get an idea of a head count ASAP!

They ask that we arrive between 5:00 & 6:00. We are staging at "That's Amore" parking lot in Vienna (in the strip mall adjacent to the Giant shopping center). We will be sharing the parking lot with the Thunderbird club.

Several people have asked if we are decorating our cars - that is entirely up the you! Costumes are also optional. Any additional people are welcome to attend to help carry the club banner.

Thank you, Joe, for organizing this. A bunch of nice vettes came out and the parade was a lot of fun. See you all at next year's parade!

Had a great time. Kinda cold, but all I had to do to keep warm was stand next to lilred and soak in that engine heat. Nice to be able to tac the engine up to 6k right next to the police and watch their reactions. Actually got a smile and a thumbs up from a motorcycle cop proving that, yes, there is at least one cool [B-)] cop in virginia.

Yep, raising the tac without consequence was fun...but thought a burnout might not have been a good idea. [:(] That is too bad, I have a new rear tire I need to break in [:))]

Glad I could keep the club members warm [:)] There was no way I was standing out in the cold...I had my heater cranked to 90 [:D] feet were nice and warm and could still yack with everyone with the windows rolled down... *thumbs up*
