Can someone explain the rationale for the labeling of photos in the picture gallery? It seems to currently be a very indirect means of accessing the pics. The current naming convention (i.e., "events93") means little until I open up the grouping.

Would it be possible to reformat the photo section as a list of events in date order sequence? The top-level photo within the group, albeit reduced in size could be used as a title photo, as is now.

Thanks for the education/history/consideration/yadda-yadda.

There isn't too much rationale in the way things are organized, it was just the easiest thing to do.

Galleries that start with "events" are pictures for events, and ones that start with "corvettes" are the pictures associated with a members vette. The number at the end is the id for the entity the gallery is associated with.

In the Other section galleries are named something because they are not associated with anything, rather a set of free form galleries that the members can upload anything to.

At this time there is no easyway to organize galleries in the manner which you suggested. I can only recommend searching for the entity you are looking for (event or corvette) and when you view it the pictures come up.

Thanks for the feedback Brad! Now I understand things a bit better. [:)>-]
