Cannot Make Spook! CRAP,CRAP,CRAP

Hello all,

I was hoping the spook was going to be the 8th and 9th but I saw it was changed to the first weekend in Oct. I am running for regional champion this year and I am currently in 1ST and the points chase is to close for me to miss my hometown races the same weekend. I started coming to your event in 1997 and this just kills me to miss it. [:((]

I Have met and made so many great friends as well as some awsome Drivers thru out the years, and this is truely one of my favorite events. Sorry, I got the new nascar radiator now and good oil cooler and she's good for 1/2 hour on track now. Maybe next year huh! [:D]

The ZF6 is working out good in the '86 now. Night and Day difference in how the car performs and handles with the 6 speed.

Glad to here all is well. I loved racing against Mike woods,Chuck W. and Mike Geyer and all the other fast drivers too. I talk to Geyer here and there and we keep up to date with each other and whats going on. It sounds like he finally got his car dialed in and went to Watkins Glen and kicked some butt. I aslo heard Chuck W. should be ready with his car too.

I got a chance to run THE ROCK ( North Carolina Speedway) in April this year and managed to get 8 firsts in class and Won FTD on Sunday and broke the track record by .001 of a second. [:D] Now that is some close racing. I aslo have an in-car cam of it on 8 MM film, but I have to get it transfered onto a DVD or I would post it here for all to see.

I here ya there. I was instructing for SCCA at Nelson Ledges on July 24th and when the students went to classroom, all the instructors went out for a little fun 1/2 hour race wheel to wheel and passing anywhere and everywhere. I finally got my car dialed inn for wheel to wheel over the winter with all the good coolers and new radiator and what a difference. I bought some CCW 18" wheels and tires like Mike Geyer has and those make a big difference as well.

Hey Aaron,

I too am sorry you can't make it, as I owe you $10 for the dvd I was supposed to burn. I had all kinds of problems with that tape, and then a friend of mine borrowed it so her son could put some drumline stuff on the backend, and inadvertently started it at the beginning. [:(]

I just got my flight info, and will be arriving Thursday night and staying at Geyer's place. Next year I will have my car up there too... see you then.

Hey Aaron, I hope you really consider coming up here in November for our HPDE on the Jefferson. As an instructor, you'll get plenty of track time and as Brian put it, "25 minutes on the track (at a time) sure beats 50 some seconds!" Take care and good luck in your events. [;)]

Aaron that sucks. Although I have been running a stock Z06 you and Mike Geyer were the bar to reach for. I can't believe you let someone in your region to be that close to you for first place. You must have missed some events in your region for that to happen.
