The Mazda Sports Club of Washington is having an event on Shenandoah Circuit early next month. They are looking for participants and instructors, and I said I would post this event here. It is a great track and you don't need a Mazda to participate. The URL also has several links to videos of the track.
I must have an hour of video on this course myself that I should post!

Passing this event would qualify you for a NCCC high speed license, as well as getting good experience on a very technical and fun track.

I'd be instructing for this event, but I'm going to be running the MARRS double on the main track. If some of you plan on running on Shen, I'll drop by.

Well boys and girls - you all missed a great event. Two days on the Shenandoah circuit. The event was very well run and organized, with great instruction. I certainly learned a lot, and got my solo ticket early the second day!!! Over 2 hours of run time each day in 4 sessions. The Z06 corded the front tires on the last session, and on inspection the front brake pads are also toast. Such is the cost of running. The caroussel is an amazing turn that makes your hair stand on end. The future Mazda events certainly deserve consideration. [:)]

Hey Curtis, what type of tires were you running (Kumho V710s)
and how many events did you have on them?

Congrats on the solo ticket! [=D>]

I corded my front Kumhos too. However, they were 4 years old and, so I got my money's worth! [:D]

The track is still very new and there is a lot of grip everywhere...
