Congrats to NVCC members Laurie Kistner and Phil Squires for winning Participant's Choice awards for their corvettes. Laurie won in the C4 category for her 1994 Red Coupe. Phil won the first ever C6 award at Vettes at the Beach for his 2005 Blue Coupe. (see photos below)

A Huge thank you to Laurie for putting this cruise together. It was a great time, and a great show. A total of 451 vettes were at the show, from C1's to C6's. Anyone who would be interested in going for next year, contact Laurie, and I will encourage you to go.
Once again, a Huge Thanks to Laurie. [=D>]

The first pic shows LilRed next to a yellow C4...that is my dad's vette, he came with us to the show. It is the first vette I ever drove. I ended up putting more miles on it than he did the second year he owned it. That was when I knew I needed my own. Before his yellow '87 dad had a '67 vert, frame off restro. That was the true start of this 'disease'. [:))] That plus the fact that my neighborhood growing up was home to other cool Corvettes as well.
Second pic shows Phil's C6 with Mike Hunter's 2001 Torch Red vert. Nice cars, guys! Our caravan was yellow, red, blue...all the primary colors on the color wheel! We artists notice everything.
Thanks, guys, for coming with me on this trip. I hope you had as good of a time as I did. I wasn't kidding when I told you there would be a lot of corvettes there! This show is the flagship show of the northeast...please consider going next year, the cars, locale, weather, and people cannot be beat. Next year I hope to have more NVCCers with me and we can plan a 4 day weekend trip, complete with a trip to the neighboring Turning Stone Casino along with the show. Mark your calendars for the last weekend of July 2006!

Thank you! Yep, that's the one. My favorite shade of yellow on a 'vette by far!

It was a 6 hour drive. I'm originally from NY and do the trip about a half dozen times a year.
Will do it again next year!
