Are you an NCCC member yet, ie you have a NCCC number? If so, you will be getting an NCCC high speed license. If not, then you will still be ok, as we are tracking all the drivers from the school to make sure they are qualified to do high speed runs. Your instructor signed off on your passing the basic skill required to obtain an NCCC license. However, NCCC licenses are only given to NCCC members.

Yes, Patrick is a NCCC member.

How do I obtain the NCCC high speed license?

Again, please click below if you are a current NCCC license holder. This will show if your license has expired. Only if it HAS, can I issue a new one. First timers, (NCCC only) who have received a "PASSED" student sign off from the HPDE, will get a license card from me before the SPOOK. Like Andrej said, non NCCC students will be tracked and those who have passed, will be allowed to run the SPOOK, without a HS license.

All Right !! My entry is in the mail. More events this year = more fun. Will the format be the same as last year - 2 runs per event ?? Can we run one direction the first day and reverse the second day ??

Yup, same format as last year. We are running both directions this year, clockwise on Sat and the opposite on Sunday.

Tech is at the Towne House Motor Lodge on Friday night, as well as Sat morning at the track. Come by Friday night and get it done there. It is outside of Rm 335, where we have hospitality.

Saturday after the runs are done, we'll have a trophy ceremony for the fast time for a guy and a gal. Then we'll have the corner worker party, all invited!

Sunday, we start again in the opposite direction, ending with another trophy ceremony for the fasted guy and gal going the other direction.

Look forward to seeing you there!

Wow, 4 speed Cougars are hard to find, especially Eliminators. This is actually an XR7 that I modified to look like an Eliminator. I have changed it over to a 5-spd so that I can shift gears :-)

Yeah, that's a great looking car. Are you bringing that car out to our event?

My Eliminator originally came with the Boss 302. It had a 351 Cleveland by the time I got it. It's just one of the cars that I once owned and wish I still had now.

I'll probably be driving it up that day. It isn't ready for any track time yet, but I do have some suspension mods planned for the winter time. I'm hoping to open track it at next years SAAC convention @ VIR. And, if you guys will have me, perhaps even some NVCC events.

It used to be common for Boss Cougars to loose their powertrain for Mustang restorations. Boss cats are selling for serious dollars these days though, so that isn't really happening often any more. In fact, one just sold a few weeks ago for $85k!

Camping is allowed at Summit. No electric hookups on the Jefferson side. Depending on how big it is... some people park down by the carousel. I've seen open fires there, not sure if they have fire pits though.

I know a couple of us were planning on camping. No showers at Jefferson either but there are over at the main track.

If your RV has all the amenities that you need, you should be good to go.

Costs vary based on weekday versus weekend, BSR supplied workers, amount of insurance coverage, etc.

Andrej can probably provide the specific details when you stop by this weekend.
