Yesterday was a great day...a special thank you to all the members who helped make this happen. Whether it was lugging the club trailer, arranging for a food vendor, judging/teching/classifying and staging cars, registering entrants, taking photos, tabulating results, selling tshirts and raffles, asking businesses for door prizes, calling out raffle ticket numbers, handing out goodie bags, bringing coffee & donuts, or lending a hand in general...it is ALL appreciated. Without all of the members' help, there is no show. But even better were the hugs of support from everyone...I love you all.

I cannot thank enough our primary sponsor, Koons, for their hospitality and support. Carl Leckner, GM of Koons, was instrumental in making this show happen, and he has my undying gratitude. He helped make this show run smoothly, a Concours Director's dream! Also, a big thanks to the tons of businesses who donated door prizes to our event. A lot of people went home with something, and that is great.

We had close to 60 beautiful vettes at the show...not too shabby. Looking to make it even bigger next year. Already got the wheels turning for the next one! But there is still work to do to finish this one up. Thank you letters are going out, class award plaques to be ordered and sent, notes for improvement for next year's show, etc...hopefully can close it out within a couple weeks and make it a fond memory!

I really am so thrilled that everyone enjoyed themselves and hope that next year we see everyone again and then some. All I saw were smiling faces and that made all the behind-the-scenes work/stress/worry worth it. I got so many compliments that I am just beside myself with awe and gratitude to all those club members and people who showed up and helped today. I was so moved by one woman who won an award who started to cry tears of joy...I almost broke down, myself. To see someone that surprised and happy really hit me hard!

The only thing that I would have liked to have seen was more club members' vettes in the show. With close to 120 members, we should have packed the place. If you cannot help with the show...please support the show next year by bringing your car and at least putting it in the Exhibition class...every car helps! Hope to see all of you again for the next one...

Great Job Laurie.

The show was wonderful, and we are all really proud of you for doing such a tremendous job.

Let's all work at making it bigger next year, while we learn from Laurie on how the show should be.

Once again, a Huge Thanks,

Laurie and all, it was a GREAT event and a FANTASTIC effort by all. Along with a big thanks to Laurie for organizing the concours and Carl Leckner for hosting, I also thank Andrej and Bobby for helping me with my first time juding.

I hope the two guys I helped (Steve with a Daytona Blue '63 roadster who just showed up at the last minute and the owner of the '93 coupe (who won after following my advice)) will become NVCC members. That's the first and last time I help someone in my class {grins}... anything to promote NV Corvette Club.
