Anyone interested in learning about and being a judge
for the event, we are working on a judging seminar to
be held the last Sunday of June.
We especially need more judges and classification/tech
people!
I have been notifying area clubs and posting on
websites (see flyer/registration form attached, been
putting it everywhere I can), so we need the help to
back it all up. Sign up today! You can work the
event and still show your car if you wish...

The list is continually updated in my first post as people volunteer. Need a few more judges, and another few new 'jobs' need to be filled now as well.
That of Grillmeister for the burgers and dogs, as well as people to help bring and sell food/beverages/snacks to the public. It is an all-day show and we need to have this available to people.
Everybody, please....volunteer your time! You all have a role in making this show great. [:)]

Dre, any word on the food situation yet? If he can't do it, I'll hafta find someone else...
Also, judges, don't forget the judging seminar at Koons on Sunday 6/26 at 1:30PM, same room as the GBMs. Park on the roof.

Bringing this TTT again, show will be here in a few days. Please check below for your name for any questions I have pertaining to last minute details, or also listed is some need-to-know info for judges and general workers. Very busy tying up loose ends, here.
Some needs that were discussed at the GBM but not yet filled are listed below. I will be emailing to everyone again but also wanted to post on the open forum.
***I need someone who has as tow vehicle to bring the club trailer to the show. In it is much equipment we will need, such as the tent for our food vendor, cones in case Koons is short on them, etc. The trailer is also a focal point for the club (since it is a Koons donation) and needs to be washed. Volunteers?***
And some last minute checking to make me feel better:
Andrej Balanc-Food vendor still a go?
Paul Hertel-Please bring cash boxes/petty cash fund/club checkbook.
James Anderson-When will the computers be gotten? Will you be coordinating this with George; getting them to him before the show? Also, is the trailer with you or did you say that you have the wristbands?
Jeff Kirk/Rick Huxta/Bobby Winterbottom-working out staging/operations/layout later today?
Jerry Lelansky-Obtaining coffee/donuts for the early bird workers...status?
Judges-Please be at the show no later than 10 AM.
All other workers-please be at Koons at 6 AM. I know it's early, but there will be coffee and donuts. (see 2 lines up)
Please wear your club shirts if you have them, plain white polos if you do not, or if you're like me and have neither, then a Corvette-related shirt is fine. All that is needed is a neat, Corvette show-friendly/comfortable appearance!
The prez wants to schedule a Friday night meeting at 6/6:30 PM at Koons to have a dry run and go over details. If you can make it, please come, as it will help make the show go more smoothly.
OK, folks...it's showtime...I am here getting everything together. Please let me know if you need anything else. The day-of trophies look great, goodie bags getting assembled and door prizes rolling in. Look in the Washington City paper for our ad in the Fast Forward section on Thursday. Working on printing up the programs, picking up the t-shirts, dash plaques here any day now...
Yahoo weather *says* 90 and sunny all day for Sunday...let's keep doing the anti-rain dance so that more cars will show up...

George my cell is my home phone and last I checked it was correct in the membership roster.
Are you going to Koons on Friday?
If you are we can meet there, if you aren't can I meet you at your house Friday evening or early Saturday Morning?
mufflerbearings - The trailer is parked at the Sterling (damn memory is gone - Andrej can tell us the name of the civic organization)
If you want you can meet me at my office on Thursday around 6 or Friday around 5 and I can take you over to where its stored and loan you my keys so you can get it hooked up. My office number is 703-386-2404

I think Ruritan is the organization that James is talking about. It is the civic org that Andrej calls Bingo for (I seem to recall they let the club park the trailer there last year after Spook).

I work in Sterling - Directions
Pick your favorite route to get onto Rte 28 south
Turn Left on Sterling Blvd (might be road)
Turn right at the first light - Shaw Rd
Turn right on Holiday park drive, it looks like an entrance to a parking lot and it is just after the Public Storage entrance
Go straight, the building on you left is 22685
Follow the road around until you see a bright Yellow Mustang
Park near it - Walk up the steps to the door, there should be a phone at the entrance to suite 80, dial 2404 and I'll come out to meet you.
To everyone else that was asking where the trailer was:
It is parked at the Sterling Ruritan parking lot. My brain fade cleared up on the way to work.

Turns out that Phil is pretty sick at the moment, so his and James' plan will not work out. Andrej, can you still get the trailer? Please advise.

If you can pick up the trailer for Sunday, that will save me having to drop off the trailer, drive back to Purcellville to get my car to come back for the show, and the reverse in the afternoon.
