Well I took it out for a drive this afternoon on the backroads around DynoTech and it was great! John has the car tuned so that it runs like it should have from the first! It was cold, 34 degrees when I fired it up and it idled good, cold throttle response was good.

After it warmed up I took it out. Spent probably 20-25 minutes running around. Damn but it felt great to be back in the seat! It came off smooth and accelerated from 25mph in 4th OD pulling hard.

Running along in 2nd, I rolled on to it and the tires spun all the way through 2nd. I shifted into 3rd cruising and then rolled onto it hard! By the time I hit 4th, it was doing 100.

Before it always had a place between 2500 - 3000 where the throttle was almost digital. Nothing and then almost WOT. There was also a hesitation almost like the knock sensor was activating the timing retard when accelerating in 3rd or 4th from 25 - 30. Now it just starts pulling! [:D]

When I pulled into John's it was still reading 163 water temps. After I talked to John, he told me that it never did get higher than that for him when he had it on the dyno. Imagine making 3 runs on the dyno back to back without having to let it cool down between pulls. [:)] I wonder how consistent it will run the 1/4 mile now.

All I can say is WOW!

John definitely worked his magic. As most of you know it was down for most of the season. This has been one of those things where Murphy's Law played out. If something could go wrong, it did. Throughout the entire process John kept his cool and went the extra mile to get it right.

If I listed all of the small things that were wrong that he had to fix, it would fill an entire page. Needless to say I am exceptionally happy with the car and will recommend John to anyone.

Now, when is the next event? [:))]

Yeah Mike! Sounds like it is back big time. Now you will have to live through winter waiting to REALLY try it out.[:D]

I wouldn't say that, I might think it but I'ld never say it. j/k [;)]

Just let me know if you want to work on it. I'll help on anything except the Opti-spark (PITA).
