Group rate is 15+ peeps at $29.99 each. HOWEVER:

In order to get the group rate, we had to reserve it TODAY (two weeks prior to the event). Unfortunately that isn't happenin' so...

Like Paul said, 3-day advance website purchase general admission, ages 3 and up, is $31.99. At the door is $45.99...so...if you plan to go, please RSVP here and make sure to purchase your tix at least 3 days in advance at www.kingsdominion.com

For route planning purposes, the HOV south is open which we can access from the Franconia-Springfield Parkway. The Hilton Hotel (where we meeting) is just north of this access. We'll have to drive past the Springfield Mall but it's really not difficult.

The HOV really makes the trip much, much easier.

She's okay just really shook up (depressed) that she got in an accident.

From what I could tell in the dark last night, the car isn't to bad... driver's side headlight, turn signal and 5mph bumper, maybe the fender a little. I just need to fix it before she can drive it.

It turns out that this is the same date as my intended dyno day. As I won't be able to afford the 06 Z06 after all, I wanted to start making the engine upgrades to match or possibly exceed the 06's perfomance.

I'm every bit as suprised as you are Jeff. I expected 345ish and hoped for 360's. Another Z ran after me and got 361. I've done nothing performance oriented to this car. As far as I know, it's bone stock.

Well so much for the 'killer cruise with lots of participation'. Especially since the date was changed to accommodate those interested. [X-(] [[-(]

That aside, we had 3 corvettes and a good time anyway. We had a new prospective member join us, but he left after 3 rides...I think he got a bit scared after the 3rd rollercoaster. Quite honestly so was I...Paul *claims* he didn't know ahead of time how bad that one 'coaster was [/:)]...but I will try *most* rides once. There were some I said HE11 NO to. The funniest part (although not for this dude) was seeing some guy toss his cookies (or rather, Mountain Dew...it was plainly obvious) after one of the 'coasters we were on. [:))] Luckily I didn't get [:-&] since I refused to eat/drink anything beforehand; you guys can thank me later.

I think Paul might try and organize another one in the future, it was a great social event/cruise, and hopefully we will get more participants the next time around. Thanks for coordinating the event and putting up with a [~:>]
