My nephew is going to college, finishing first year, and has completed his solo flight, ready to take the written exam to get pilot license. Every since he has been born, he has wanted to fly and become a military pilot. He lives in Massachusetts, and I am hoping to make contact with a military pilot that would be willing to talk with him and answer his questions on how to go about become a military pilot. He is a straight kid, good student, works hard but has a passion to fly. He has been going to flight school since he turned 16 and has kept at it. Has over 140 hours in the air, first year of school and really needs help. Although he has a Dad, his father has no idea of where to start, (drives a bus for the MTA in Boston) and really no interest helping his son.

So if one or more can email me I will provide telephone number and name and you can call him to help him along, this would be greatly appreciated....

Many Thanks

Collin, what's this guy's contact info?

Not sure which branch of service he wants to get into. The entry requirements differ by branch. However, all require the individual be in the officer ranks. Army has Warrant Officer grades as well.

Let me know how I can help.

Collin,
As Jeff pointed out the Army does have a Warrant Officer aviation program. More infomation about the Army Aviation program can be found at http://www-rucker.army.mil/activities/avprop.html

Dick Hammaker was a pilot in the Air Force so an e-mail to him might be helpful.
