I went to this show last year to look and had a great time. This year I plan on showing the Corvette. Anyone else interested in "Cruisin" in for it? Perhaps we can coordinate a breakfast before hand and drive in as a group?

Lee-

If you are already going, do you want to be the lead car and head up a caravan of cars, if you have any replies of interest???

If I can, I'll try to make it. Not sure yet, all I know is that I might be doing the drags the night before (see this thread (http://www.nvcorvetteclub.com/mvnforum/mvnforum/viewthread?thread=1235)), don't know how tired I'll be...too many events to go to!

Anybody have a website link to this event? It's only about 8 blocks from where I live and I'll try to stop by.

I'm thrilled to see such interest in this show. That said, I would be more than happy to coordinate a small breakfast/get-together and caravan into the show (Great idea Laurie!...hope you can make it).

Over the next week, I'll see who all plans to participate and try to work out a meeting place that would be accomodating. Any suggestions? Also, I'll make arrangements to ensure they have a good spot for all of us to stick together at the show.

I am not aware of a website for this show, but would be happy to mail out copies of the show flyer to anyone that likes. Just send me an email or give me a call with your address. (703) 971-2190

Should be a great time!

Any way to scan in/e-mail the flyer? I'd be able to post it on the forum, send a club e-mail with it attached, as well as post it in a club calendar event posting.

We'd get more response if I can publicize it fully.

Laurie & Jeff,

I've scanned in the flyer for the show and emailed it to you both and the others who have expressed interest in going. Let me know Laurie if it would be best to have the logistics for the caravan settled before you post to the club email and calendar.

Let's hope for good weather as it should be a good show!

Any RSVPs on this event? Who is going?

I'd like to know the logistics of the caravan in order to post it to the calendar, send a club e-mail reminder, etc...

Thanks for doing this...it looks good! I will put it up on the club calendar and generate a club e-mail (if you haven't already).
[=D>]

Edit: all of the above has been taken care of. Lee, keep tuned to this forum post, your e-mail box, voice mail, and the event posting on the calendar...hopefully some RSVPs will start coming in...

Don't know how many you'll get since it's Mother's Day, but you never know. Even a small group is a lot of fun!

Nah, just re-size the photos in this thread if you would please, Dan. [:O]

I'll upload the bigger ones people have sent me to the photo page. [:)]

Sure. What size should they be? [:-/]

Meh, just not the gigantic size they are now. [:))] Maybe half that size would be fine?

Thank you to Dick Hammaker, Dan Kinney , Jerry Myers, Alice Arielly & Jack Hufnagle for making Sunday's breakfast & car show such a great time! Unbeatable weather, good food, beautiful cars and most of all great company! We all enjoyed a pleasant breakfast at IHOP (thanks for the coordination Alice!) before cruising into the Coast Guard station for what was to be a great show. We found a good shaded area to park the Vettes and enjoyed a relaxed afternoon checking out the cars and chatting with friends - even making a few new ones who just might join the club! Several of us enjoyed good conversations with with Ron Edmonds who recently bought a beautiful 1970 roadster (which won a show prize!) - hope you join the club Ron! A personal thanks to Laurie for your support in spreading the word...the Mother's Day show was a memorable event!

Looking forward to the next one!

Lee
