Friend called me from the Freestate Corvette Club, to let me , the new "host" hotel is the Holiday Inn Oceanfront on 67th Street (6600 Coastal Highway). RESERVATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED. Room rates are $99.00 plus taxes. Call 1-800-837-3588 or 410/524-1600 to make your room reservations now.
Told me to book room quickly at the are about 90% full...so thought I would pass the word. Now this is for the hotel the activities will be at. Other hotels are filling up very very quickly, as specifics of the show were announced last week to their membership.
Remember the dates have changed, Free State Corvette Weekend Ocean City Weekend is October 14 & 15, 2005.
With the change of the Headquarters hotel, the growth of the event, and even the change of weekend...its going to book up fast.
In addition, the Car Shows and the Rallye starting location will be at the Inlet. We will also be staging for the Boardwalk Parade of Corvettes at the Inlet. Not at the Convention Center....so a lot of things have and are changing. Detailed info will be posted around May 15th.
