Corvettes at Carlisle -- Overnight Event??

This event is listed under our Events calendar. I see where we will have a group going up and returning on Saturday but was wondering if we're having a group going up on Friday and spending one or more nights?

Looking for hotel suggestions if anyone knows of some good ones (pool, bar, semi-close to the Fairgrounds!). Hotel rooms are sometimes hard to find and Laurie and I are planning to book early.

Unless you want to coordinate an overnight event yourself, there is no one else organizing an overnight Carlisle trip (that I know if anyway). I'm doing the same-day trip, and with all the events I do during the year with the club, that is all I can do.

NCCC east region (this is our region) is looking for volunteers to sell tickets for the givewaway Corvette at the NCCC booth at Carlisle. George Gallant is looking for 8 people per shift, and he is organizing three shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Every volunteer gets a t-shirt and thier name put into a drawing for a free set of tires for your Vette! That's a 1 in 72 chance to get a SET OF TIRES!!!

OK, it's been confirmed. One worker at the NCCC Carlisle booth this year will win a set of Goodyear tires for their vehicle. It is the winners choice of which Goodyear tire they can get for their car, but it is 4 tires!

You work a 4 hour shift, there are three shifts per day for each of the three days of Carlisle and you get a t-shirt and your name put in the hopper for the tires.
