Helmet Communicators

What's a good brand of helmet communicator, where can I get a set, and how much should it cost? I'll need to get it for our event at the latest. Thanks for your help.

When the NASA forum was up and working, the instructors were talking about the Chatterbox (http://www.hjc-chatterbox.com/hjc50.htm) as being pretty good.

They were also talking about having problems with the NADY IN-CAR INTERCOM SET (http://www.ogracing.com/eshop/home.asp?categ=77), fragil, breaking, etc.

There was also talk about the NASA instructors getting a discount on the Chatterboxes from somewhere.

I've got both, the Chatterbox is probably a better quality. OG Racing (Sterling and at SP) will have it. The Chatterbox is about $115 and the Nady is about $65.

Either one will save your voice...

No, I have other spending priorities at the moment, but I plan to get the Chatterbox sometime within the month.

Hey Ralph, just saw this post...everyone's right, the Chatterbox is the one to get. I had the other one (not sure if it was NADY or what..) but it fell apart after about two events, just cheap all around. I shopped around, but OG was still the best deal. You'll need an extension cord for one of the mic's - don't forget.
