Hey Andrej,
Have you heard anything about the Corvette Club that's trying to put something together for Nelson Ledges? Depending on the date, I'd be interested.

Nelson Ledges (http://www.na-motorsports.com/Tracks/Nelson.php) is a pretty famous track with a lot of history behind it.

No, I haven't heard anything since the email. However, those folks have a FATT type event on certain Fridays. I don't think I'm going to make the SCCA double at the end of April at NL, so I would be interested in making one of their FATT events....
Bill, in addition to being a fun track, it's also the fastest track in North America, ie you can have the highest average MPH per lap than any other track anywhere in USA. Vettes ought to be good for close to 100mph average per lap. The downside, there are a lot of potholes....

This has a fairly recent and very good review of the track.

Looks like a fun track, how is the run-off and elevation changes?
Looks like you can just hold the hammer down from 9 up to 12.
Guess I need to join SCCA too?

Run off ain't bad and there is no elevation change, it's flat flat flat.
However, T4, 5 and 6 is banked nicely.
Yup, T9-12 is flat out. Those with big balls can even hold it all the way down for T11. It's really like T4 at Summit, except that even in the Miata I'm doing 115mph. Vettes have to be good for 130+!
You don't have to join SCCA to run their FATT stuff, just pay the $150 and sign the waiver!

Summit Point FATTS are more restrictive that NL. As far as I can tell, at NL you pay the $ and run all day long.... I don't think they have instructors at NL, so we may want to lead/follow and then debrief. It's not a hard track to run, but it is very FAST!
