The forum has been upgraded to the latest release. Let me know what everyone thinks of the new format.

Gotta get used to it, some stuff about it is cool...but it looks like we all hafta re-upload our avatars again. Didn't back them up, eh?

Like LilRed said, it's going to take some getting used to...

I am now an "Invisible member" whatever that is. I'm not sure I've noticed that many changes besides the graphical ones.

The page number that you are viewing works now though.

WTF is an invisible member???

Oh...the 'Quick Go' feature (allows you to go to different forums, such as News, Social, etc) does NOT work. It did in the last version. Bradsky?

When you go to "Who's Online" to see who is on, what they are doing, etc...

Instead of listing the username, they are listed as an "Invisible member" Also before each session was an individual line. Now one line that tells how many sessions the user has open.

I figured that much, was more interested in the 'whys' of it I guess.

Also noticed some of the smileys are different while they kept some of the old ones...hmmm.

It most be a flag under the administrator's control. I can't find it under the Moderator's menu or on the Profile screen.

Opps, I forgot about the avitars, but this time I actually backed them up. Go ahead and re-upload your avitar if you wish, but I'll restore them when I get the chance.

The new feature I like the best is the Sticky/Annoucement/GlobalAnnoucement thread type.

We've been needing something like this.

Agreed. Also the ability to send a PM is good, too.

Didn't read through that HUGE list of forum upgrades, but off the top of your head Brad, is there a private forum feature that we the council can set up and start using???

It seems there were a couple of bugs that were fixed that might make Private Forums work now.

I believe that there is, but I'd have to look into how to do it. I still need to set up the "play" environment for you guys.

Also, I'll have to reindex the search db. Which will take a while so I'll kick it off before I go to sleep.

Also the arrow (last post) icon isn't working quite right. It takes you to the last page but it doesn't take you to the last post.

If the Private Forum works now...

It looks like a Group has to be created first and assign members (at least one) to it.

Next create a new forum and select forum type of Private and select forum group from the list of groups available.
